I am very excited to announce that Packers Sanitation Services (PSSI) has rebranded and will be moving forward with a new name: Fortrex.

Our Safe Foods brand will be a division of Fortrex and will continue to offer superior chemical solutions, intervention processing aids, innovative equipment, and real-time analytics software to our partners around the world.

This new Fortrex identity marks the next phase in our evolution and a renewed commitment to leading the food safety and sanitation industry in compliance, standards, scientific innovation, and attracting top tier talent to continue bolstering our team. Under this new brand identity, our priority remains steadfast as the first line of defense in food safety for our customers and consumers to safeguard the nation’s food supply.

While we have always been proud to deliver exemplary service to our customers across the country, our rebrand underscores our dedication to enhancing capabilities and ensuring our customers receive the best value for our services.

Investments in our core capabilities will better position Fortrex to support our customers’ growth. This includes centralizing our operations and continuing to fortify our market position as the best-in-class in food safety. New facilities will give us greater manufacturing capabilities while our science, technology, and operations talents are complemented by an exceptional sales group operating across North America under an experienced leadership team.

And with a new office headquartered in Atlanta, Fortrex sits at the center of a major travel and academic hub. Not only will we be able to recruit from outstanding colleges and universities that excel in food science and food technology, but the city’s international airport means we can reach our customers throughout North America more quickly.

These investments are built on top of our already solid market position; from 2023 to last year, our new sanitation business had a record number of new wins. We anticipate continued growth and are poised to capitalize on it.

Throughout our more than 50-year history, our commitment to the mission-critical work of food sanitation remains steadfast as our priority is always impeccable service. This next phase will be no exception. Our outstanding team – everyone from corporate members to plant employees – will continue to maintain the best-in-class service we are known for.
